The Company...
1. We have been in the residential inspection business since the beginning of licensed inspections in New York State (early 2006). Our 40+ years of home building and our extensive professional training enable us to provide you with a comprehensive, top quality home inspection

2. In accordance with the New York State laws, we do not participate in any referral or construction related activities with our home inspection clients. This would represent a conflict of interest.

3. Yes, we do carry Professional Liability insurance. This type of insurance is also known as Errors & Omissions insurance.

5. We always encourage our clients to attend the inspection. Clients that attend have a better understanding of the property as viewed by the inspector and are better able to read and interpret the final report. The client's attendance also helps them understand the scope of a home inspection as well as the limitations.

6. An inspection can usually be scheduled within one to three days.

7. A typical inspection of a 2000 square foot house will take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours.

1. Our inspectors have extensive experience in performing home inspections. Collectively, they have over 40 years of construction and inspection experience. In addition, each of our inspectors have completed the industry's most extensive training programs.

2. All inspectors are either members of NACHI® or are working towards that goal. The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors® is a non-profit professional society dedicated to establishing standards of excellence for professional home inspectors.

The Report...
1. The inspection fees vary slightly depending on the size and age of the house as well as numerous other factors. We would love to hear from you so please call our office at 518-747-7410 for a specific quotation.

2. A full inspection covers the Site/Grounds, Exterior, Structural Components, Foundation, Roof, Attic, Insulation, Ventilation, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating/AC, Garage, Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Interior. Click this link if you would like to see a more complete description of the inspection.

3. Currently, we provide an extensive, 33 page written report. A computer generated version is in the works and will be available soon. Included in both is a Report Summary that will let you quickly review the recommended improvements to the home. The report is narrative in nature so that you can read, in plain English, the results of the home inspection. In addition to the report, each client will also receive a Maintenance Schedule book and DVD to help you keep your home in top shape for a long time to come.

4. The written report is generated on-site. You'll never have to wait overnight for your report.

5. Yes, our reports conform to (and exceed) the ASHI® Standards of Practice.
